		<itunes:summary>Spring blossoms cling Delicately to trees Against the blue sky of an April afternoon.

Sun-kissed faces Greet and grimace At the passing of winterrsquo;s mildew.

The air smells of sweet perfumes never bottled.

The chocolate on my breath Reminds me of your abundance, traded and shipped across oceans, harvested from fields cultivated by hands who know the sacred mystery of solar, water, and dirt mixed, and made tasty pleasure, by the hands of one who speaks in thunder

Smokey bites of burrito Majado Set our mouths on fire Quickly quenched by sweet milky

Cinnamon orchada just aquired

Our inheritance spills Out onto city streets: Once read books, An extra coat,

Three pairs of pants 5 pairs of shoes, gently worn And doggy bags of our unfinished plates From the finest epicurean temples This world has ever known.

Our streets are littered with gold And we hardly glance at the treasures at our feet I now walk by a loaf of bread And because I merely look down Find a twenty-dollar bill and a collection of Elvis songs Recorded by Vegas impersonators

Cigarettes are shared Change is dropped in cups Money is loaned Advise and wisdom unsolicited are freely given Every city block is an ecosystem of Friendships, trust and neighborly affections.

Nay one of us falls to the ground In drunken stupor, trip or cranial torture, Than six friends rush to help her. Canes are given to those who limp. And at the first flush of want or need Provision comes to lavish and please.

The pulse of hip-hop on the boom box reminds us we are alivemdash; and it is time to go out and make something of our lives.

This garden is well tended And we are well cared for --even as we roll and sit in ditches of briars and thorns that tear our skin and make us howl in terror. Pink is still the color of bubble gum, And the color of little girls dresses.

We are tortured by the memory That we live in a good story Which we try to forget to be like gods --knowing good and evil,

striving as if the sun does not shine and we are not the beloved of creation.

ldquo;I said I gotch you.rdquo;

He says leaning towards her.

ldquo;I said I gotch you.rdquo;

He says as they walk along together.

ldquo;Yeah, I said, I gotch you.rdquo;</itunes:summary>
