I downloaded the new Arcade Fire album, NEON BIBLE, from itunes this afternoon. I know some people have said that there isn’t anything new on this album, but after 4 listenings I like it even better than FUNERAL.

  1. I guess I still prefer Funeral, but I have to say that Neon Bible’s Intervention is one of the most powerful songs I’ve ever heard. It is like an anthem for folks who struggle in ministry ;)

  3. I am with you on this ol’ friend, funeral felt more like a bunch of songs put together, neon bible feels like a bunch of songs all looking at the same thing from different angles, which is hard to do in my experience, and when its pulled off, it seems more transendent (did I spell that right?)
